			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Janske Lazne is situated 519 m above sea level and it is one of most important ski centres in the Czech part of the Giant Mountains. Janska Lazne is a spa town with remarkable history and spreads out on the foothill of Cerna mountain (1299 m above sea level). The town Janske Lazne became an important sports and recreation resort thanks new cableways, ski lifts and cross-country tracks. For families with children and seniors is it well equipped relax zone and starting point for trips to the surroundings. <span id="more-929"></span></p>
<p>Within the categorization of ski resorts in the Czech republic, Janske Lazne belongs together with Pec pod Snezkou, Spindleruv Mlyn,  and Rokytnice nad Jizerou to the 5-stars resorts. Terrains for downhill skiing are located on the southern and south-eastern slopes of Cerna and neighbouring Svetla Mountain. Skiers can use 2 cablecars and 12 ski lifts of different types and lengths. The ski centre is equipped with ski slopes 3 km long which belong to the longest in the Czech republic. Main downhill slopes are equipped with artificial snow-making machines. Skiing terrains are suitable also for families with children because the area has ski pistes from training-meadows to advanced downhill courses. There are 50 km prepared cross-country routes and 3,5 km long sledge route „Cernohorska sankarska cesta“.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The most important and biggest centre of skiing and tourism of the east Giant Mountains – Pec pod Snezkou (Pec under Snezka Montain) is situated 769 m above sea level, in the deep valley of the Upa river and under the highest mountain Snezka (1602 meters above sea level). Over 5 to 6 months of the year it is covered with snow.<span id="more-927"></span></p>
<p>The ski resort, which is the largest in area, operating 1 four chair lift and 9 ski lifts and arround 10,5 km of downhill slopes of varying degrees of difficulty. The downhill slopes are particularly popular with families and children because of the wide range of choices, with range from training meadows to challenging runs. In the evening hours, 3 ski lifts with artificial lighting are in operation-one of which is Javor, the longest and best illuminated downhill slope in the Czech Republic. Visitors are provided access to all places in the resort by means of a single magnetic card. For snowboarding enthusiasts, a large funpark is available season-long. Cross-country skiers (langlaufers) can make use of the Giant Mountain main track, which is kept in perfect conditions by constant grooming. </p>
